Gary AustinGary Austin is the founder and original director of THE GROUNDLINGS, Los Angeles’ premier character-based improv company, which began in 1974. Many of “Saturday Night Live’s”actors and writers have come from THE GROUNDLINGS. He began his professional career as a performing member of San Francisco’s famed improv company, THE COMMITTEE, where he worked with SECOND CITY’S Del Close. Gary holds a BA Degree in Theater from San Francisco State University. He is the Producer and Artistic Director of The Gary Austin Workshops.

Andrew DicklerAndrew Dickler has been a film editor for many years. He has been a film actor for only a few years. His last starring role was in the feature film "DOUCHEBAG " which played in competition at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. He likes old dogs and old Volvos.

Eric HalaszWith "WE’VE GOT BALLS!," Eric brings five decades of extensive stage training and experience that began nearby his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, through his first exposure to improvisational comedy at Miami Beach Senior High School, and later at Case Western Reserve University and Dartmouth College. In later years, he trained and performed extensively with the Orange County Crazies, among an extensive collection of performance groups in and around Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles Groundlings.

Dane Posey


Dane PoseyDane Posey is currently training and performing live at The Second City Hollywood and Improv Olympic West. Dane is the founding member of Orange County based improv ensemble Odiferous Stoole and has appeared in numerous print and commercial campaigns worldwide. He may be best known, however, for his riveting performance in Miss Puleo’s Kindergarten production of “The Farmer in the Dell” in which he played the cheese that stood alone.

Eric SatterbergThe Fullerton, Calif. native earned his BFA in Theatre from Chapman University and has appeared on stage in numerous productions, including as Vince in Fullerton's Hunger Artists award-winning "Buried Child," and as Jean in Live The Exit's staging of Strindberg's "Miss Julie."

Craig NelsonCraig Nelson started his acting career as a regular performer in the Orange County Crazies. Since then, he has appeared as a lead in several shorts and sitcom pilots. He is a frequent comedian at the Jon Lovitz comedy club at Universal Studios and also performs at the Groundlings Theater. Craig is also in final stages of production of his solo show, "Rescuing Jon," opening early 2013.

Phyllis KatzPHYLLIS KATZ, a pioneer member, former director and current board member of L.A.’s prestigious theatre troupe, The Groundlings, has enjoyed working in TV, film and stage as an actor, writer and director. Her one-woman show, Katz: Music & Characters, won a Drama-Logue award for best performance; her play; Codependently Yours, was an L.A. Weekly award nominee; and her first film short, Shoedini, ran on I-film for a year with a 10 rating.
